Update, Loves, Friends and Adversaries...

Free at last... Free at last.

Out of Jail; for the first time in ages. the air smells better than it ever did, the world crisper - if that makes any sense at all. prepared to star daily blogginging again if i can keep my revolutionary ass out of the 'man's' hardened penal system. 60 days in the Toronto East Detention centre, 10 days more in the West and themn ten more I just finished today in Toronto's lovely Don Jail.

So many stories.
Lost so much - but at the same time gained more insight, intellegence, empathy and honest to god - truth seemingly more real than anything I have ever before been allowed tosee feel or realize.

More to come if I can promise you this.

Stories not finished

• Amanda - in a word "amazing" but to do justice to someone so fabulous, so wonderful, so beatiful, so .... right.... aaahhh... the words i write do not do any justice whatsoever... like using watermelon or carrot to describe the garden of eden... Sensual, beautiful, smart, funny, adventurous, cunning, sly, sexy, she is everything I ever wanted in a woman. She has set the bar so high that i will be lucky to ever meet anyone who is even a quarter of the person she is. I fell for her the second I met her almost a year ago and never dreamt I would be where I am, where i was with her before I went to jail . We connected unexpectedly and quite suddenly and every day we spent together was a month. We had adventures , fires, we went dancing, we talked about everything and anything. I painted he body and she looked right into me while I did so... With her I could be me... and that was all she was looking for... for me to be me and I have lost her . I know I will find her again and I know our story is not over... not by a long shot.

• Renaldo ~ evil and manipullative ex-roommate of mine. Acted like my brother and sent me to hell so he could reap the benefits of my endeavours... you are a bad, bad, bad man Mr. Arinda deSilva. I will see you again and there will be retribution. Indeed there will.

• Shawn - what are best friends made of - simply put he stood by me though it all, though jail, crime, abuse, love and loss. Highs and lows. He stood his ground. My respect for you isas high as my love for amanda or my distrust and distain for Renaldo...

Well keep posted and you will truly see what it takes for a man to truly stand next to another man whan all else is crumbling around us

Bottles from the past

i found two bottles today. funny as i used to be this avid cllector in days past.

One is an old ink well with the words UNDERWOOD'S INKS embossed on the side of its light blue glass side. this bottle is interesting because you can tell it was hand made and not machine produced. This is most obvious in the orregulatities in the thickness of the lass and the irregular/uneven top. very cool though.

The other is also very cool as it is a Hire's Root Beer botttle which reads on one side HIRES IMPROVED ROOT BEER. On the next side it reads MAKES FIVE GALLONS OF A DELICIOUS DRINK. The following side reads MANUFACTURED ONLY BY CHARLES E. HIRES. The last side reads PHILADELPHIA P.A. U. S. A. .

On the bottom of the small bottle is the number 2.

According to Ebay the hires bottle is worth $25 US and the ink bottle is worth $5 US

Hi there folks,

I am back after a long absence of feeling sorry for myself, having bad luck, sleeping on the rough and overall hitting bottom (which to be honest i had thought i had hit this some time ago) and bouncing around for awhile before skidding roughly to a stop. I did stop though and now i begin my decent back toward the sun. Back towards the light, towards ggod and meaningful friendship, towards a place that i finally feel i deserve to be.

Onwards or upwards but at least i know i am going somewhere!
